Day 1
Depart from New York or Washington, DC for your flight to Johannesburg, South Africa on South African Airways.
Day 2
Upon arrival at Johannesburg’s Oliver Tambo International
Airport, you will go through customs, then connect with your
domestic flight to Cape Town. Upon arrival in Cape Town, you
will be met by a SAA Vacations representative and
transferred to your hotel.

Today is your last full day in Cape Town for last minute shopping or a visit to one of the many places of interest. After an early breakfast you will be
transferred from your hotel to Cape
TownAirport in time for your scheduled flight to Johannesburg. On arrival
connect with your flight to Kruger-Mpumalanga where you will
be met on arrival and transferred to your lodge. Spend
2-nights including all meals and two game drives daily.
Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge is situated in the Sabi
Sabi Game Reserve, within the southern section of the Kruger
National Park. The lodge is set
in the heart of the bushveld, overlooking a river plain and
waterhole where animals regularly come to drink. It is an
all-suite, exclusive lodge offering 25 suites (50 beds)
designed and furnished in a contemporary, yet ethnic, style.
A sense of space and light pervades each suite, while high
thatch and discreet air-conditioning provides a cool escape
during the warmer months. External walls, the color and
texture of wet elephant hide, and the artistic interior and
exterior use of indigenous slate for floors, bathroom walls
and outside patios reflects an amber, grey and ochre
palette, ensuring that Bush Lodge is unobtrusive and blends
perfectly with the surrounding bushveld. The bathroom offers
open views to the river plains beyond. Glass bottles
containing high quality cosmetics and a crystal decanter of

Lion Sands River Lodge is decorated in an old African style
with a sundeck and bar. The swimming pool is built with a
zero - edge overlooking the River. Lion Sands River Lodge
has 6.21 miles (10km) of Sabie River frontage with a high
concentration of game around the River especially during the
dry seasons. It provides a great diversity of general fauna
and flora and affords unique activities based around the
River, hides and fishing.

Day 7
Enjoy an early
morning game viewing drive in an open safari vehicle in this
wildlife paradise. Spend the hottest part of the day
relaxing around the pool or on
comfortable wooden chairs overlooking a water-hole. In the
afternoon go on another safari under the guidance of a qualified game ranger and renowned Shangaan
tracker. Exceptional game viewing has always been a
trademark of the Sabi Sands.
Both
Lodges offer exciting game drives in open 4x4 safari
vehicles. At daybreak, guests meet for a welcoming cup of
coffee before embarking on a dawn safari. Rangers and
trackers greet the day by pointing out the wildlife, and
even the most seasoned game viewer will learn something new
and fascinating every day. Exceptional game viewing has
always been a trademark of the Sabi Sands, and the chances of
seeing the “Big Five” - Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and
Leopard – are excellent. The reserves share a common
unfenced boundary with the KrugerNational Park and sustain the diverse
fauna and flora of the area, with one of the highest and
most bio-diverse wildlife populations of any area in
Africa.

Day 8
After an early morning game drive to track the animals that may have eluded you so far, followed by breakfast, you will be transferred to Mpumalanga Airport for your Federal Air flight to Johannesburg. (B)
On arrival at Johannesburg’s Oliver Tambo International Airport you will bid farewell to South Africa and depart on your international flight back to the USA on South African Airways.

Arrive in New York or Washington, DC with a lifetime of memories!
